Struggles sourcing well-fitting garments for my smaller frame, inspired my exploration into Occasionwear, where undergoing costly tailoring or opting for custom-made gowns is the norm for most dainty brides. A gap inthe market was spotted for Minikin, as dresses would be boutique-bought and ready-to-wear, specificallyfor petite customers. Extra attention is put into the design and fitting process, ensuring everyelement, from the bodice to the train,seamlessly fits and flatters Minikin brides. Dresses are designed in-house, and fabrics sourced within the UK, encouraging sustainable practices.

As our target market belong to the Millennial demographic, we decided to introduce wedding coordination and styling, easing the pressure of planning your wedding day.After researching the Millennial market, Minikin decided to host exclusive events, connecting likeminded brides in the virtual world. Additionally, our online publisher is a bride’s best friend, updating customers with bridal trends, reviews, tips and tricks. Minikin’s Instagram further spreads positivity, daily inspiration and offers exclusive access to the Minikin Lifestyle.
