Welcome to the School of Design Degree Show! Normally we would be celebrating the Show with students, staff, friends and family actually in the School. Unfortunately, this year we have been overtaken by a global event that has changed our world. The “normal” has become the “abnormal” and we have needed to adjust our personal space and perceptions in order to keep ourselves and our students safe and healthy. In adjusting the communal mindset, we too in the School have adapted and successfully responded by moving to the online medium. While it has presented many challenges, it has been a joy to see the ingenuity, flexibility and commitment of both students and staff in bringing the Show to a successful fruition. I commend the excellent student work to you as testimony of what can be achieved through creative talent, inspiration and sheer hard work. Congratulations to all our students and enjoy the online Degree Show!
