Ultimately, I have aimed to develop a series of designs that take a very overworked segment of design and create something that’s new, exciting and long lasting. Working with a range of trends combined with easy to wear colours and techniques to inspire an elegant suggestion to the market. This concept derives from the need to slow down the pace of fast fashion with the application of high quality designs that can be worn for more one season without becoming outdated, this in part is why I designed the second half of the collection for floral formal suits as I believe this to be a longer lasting statement item. I believe that this collection demonstrates my ability to develop commercially successful prints that respond to market trends that I have identified and worked from to create a varied collection of final concepts.
