Rebecca Pallister

As a 3rd year graphics student finishing their degree, I loved the time I spent at Leeds developing my eye for design. My progress over the time has been really rewarding to experience, from refining known skills such as layout and colour to developing new ones such as video editing. This pool has been expanded further by the internship I have partaken in where I learnt and created motion graphics.

I am a big believer in doing what you enjoy, a main motivator for choosing to study graphic communication. This has also led me to pursue and practice illustration, both to implement in my work and to supplement my hobbies. After graduating I would like to work in concept creation, brainstorming and visualizing new ideas, or equally as much, working as an all-rounder designer tackling a wide variety of challenges. After all, boredom can facilitate some of the best ideas, however most of the time it is a creative’s biggest enemy.

Wherever I am in the future, I hope that I will still be making, as it is one of the things in life that gives me the greatest joy.
