
For my major project I wanted to create a concept that was realistic, relevant in the current market environment, and commercially viable. Core was developed through an understanding of the current zeitgeist and inspired by macro and micro trends. A deep understanding of our target market’s needs and expectations further enabled a customer-centric approach.
Whilst I wanted to ensure a marketing mindset throughout the development of my project and apply the learnings from my degree, my industrial placement and my dissertation; I also wished to remain loyal to my values, interests and passions. I wanted core to be a reflection of myself and stand for what I believe in, both professionally and personally. Core combines my love for fashion, lifestyle and all things wellness. It is more than just about physical consumption: it is about community, about experiences, about self-care. It is founded on sustainability, ethicality, quality over quantity. It is about refocusing on what truly matters, living a more conscious lifestyle, and reconnecting with ourselves and the world around us.
